The Lebron James-Dwight Howard “Nothin’ But Net” remake aired during last night’s Super Bowl, and it really sucked.

First of all, why is Dwight Howard practicing alone in a dark gym that only seems to have one light on, in apparel that kind of resembles Orlando Magic gear but without any discernable logos?

Second, why does Lebron go to McDonald’s, then go to some random arena to eat it courtside?  Did he plan on practicing afterwards?

The whole “no jump shot” thing immediately made the commercial than the original, and the campy special effects were laughable at best.

One thing that surprised me at the end is that they decided to go with the “who’s the old guy” joke.  Lebron loves to tell people that he appreciates the league and it’s storied history, and he’s a student of the game.  I guess this is taking place in some fantasy world, seeing as though the laws of physics and gravity don’t seem to exist.

Yes, I know it’s just a stupid commercial.  But the original was at least entertaining.  Does anybody else  find it somewhat ironic that Lebron would agree to do this dunk contest commercial when he just backed out of the NBA dunk contest next weekend?

I would love to see a charge of malicious prosecution filed against the Prosecutors Office in this case, as well as similar charges against the Police and Greg White’s Henchmen for original filings on this case.
This was one of the biggest traversties of justice ever to be called a trial.
