So the internets are a buzz with Nike’s new Tiger Woods ad, in which Tiger is staring at the screen and his deceased father’s voice addresses him about the sex scandal (presumably definitely).

Here it is for all three of you who haven’t seen it.

That is a really freaking weird commercial.

Did they computer generate his Dad’s voice?  Is this the work of a brilliant audio editor?  Did they hire a guy who sounded exactly like Earl Woods?

DID NIKE HIRE HIS SPIRIT TO MAKE TIGER FEEL LIKE GARBAGE ABOUT HIS ACTIONS?

I’ve watched this seriously like 25 times, and I just don’t get how any ad agency would think that this is a good idea.  Having his late father show his disappointment?

What not have his LIVING mother?

Oh, that’s why.

One Response to “Ok, Let’s Talk About The Tiger Commercial”
